Dubai Traffic

Possibly the most common sight in Dubai -- the tail lights of several cars in front of you, that is. :)
Post-processed in the GIMP, using some of the GEGL Black & White Conversion Method I've outlined here, while keeping th original colour layer, adding in some more on top and generally freewheeling it until it looked right.

Wow ... I need some tips on how to select appropriate PP for Photos. I can NEVER decide what is right enough.
Heh, damned if I know! Mostly I've found to do what you feel looks right, then dial it down by 10 or 20%. :)

What a photograph! Even though you tweaked it a bit, I think the picture is very convincing.
What really strikes me about it is the perspective. And the vetor lines defining distance and height in a metaphorical manner. You know the long curve of the road and the colour- red, grey, white- and the curve of the building in the background. Perfect.
