Comic Konga 2 #1: Jewels

So begins the second Comic Konga! I think I'm starting to like doing the first one as a single panel gag; it's a format I never otherwise use, and it's a challenge to distill something down to one panel and one line only. Like most writers I have a tendency to ramble, and something like this could easily have been a three or six panel piece.

The anatomy and line-work is all over the place, and I did try to colour it but decided just to keep it to black and white (perhaps that can be a theme for this time's CK). Hope your own comic endeavours are fruitful. Can't wait to see what you lot have come up with.

U know somehow I can so relate to that comic and I dont know whether thats a good thing or bad thing!!

anyhow I do like how the comic looks, love your tonal line.... and the interesting part is that the window looks like a crystal ball! so is it supposed to be thats what ur future holds to wear all kind of jewels and dazzle away!!

So yes I am too participating n my first comic panel (sticking to panels, no time for strips) is up, so any comments....

The tonal line is down to the brush pen. Very useful if a little hard to get used to (haven't used one for a while).

Hmm, crystal ball? It was just a quick way to vignette the piece and stop me from drawing a lot of background, but sure, hey, I planned it all along, you have recognised my genius, good woman; such subtle metaphors are a hallmark of my work!
