Spent much of the last fortnight reading the last Harry Potter book, and The Golden Compass (before the sure-to-be-lobotomised movie version comes out). Enjoyed the former, loved the latter, and didn't really want to write too much while I was blazing through them.</p> <p>Spent a surprising amount of time writing a blog post about Indian Cable TV as I remember it, and ended up with a gargantuan post that should be a series if I ever finish it.</p> <p>Finished up the last dregs of calendar work, and am now in a mad dash to clean up the house for impending visitors at the end of the month (yes, it's <em>that</em> dirty). Did a few crappy sketchies that I may post up.</p> <p>Should get back into writing. I tell you, this Philip Pullman dude's writing style is getting to me (not a bad thing).</p> <p>Also saw Beowulf.
